I’ve been in practice for over 29 years now and have seen so many things change. When I first began private practice patients often went to a chiropractic office as a “last resort”. In many (or most) cases, they had tried other methods of care and only sought chiropractic care after those methods failed. That climate has certainly changed. Many patients now make chiropractic their first choice! This is an exciting and welcomed change, but also one that carries the weight of responsibility in knowing that we must offer our patients the very best care possible, whether that be in our office or with an appropriate referral elsewhere.
Your choice of a chiropractor in today’s practice environment is more important than ever. I pride myself on staying up to date with the latest advances in chiropractic and in the health care community at large. I am currently pursing certification in primary spine care from the University of Pittsburgh. I’m also taking part in a fellowship program through Cleveland University in Kansas City, MO, with course material that is co-credentialed by The Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Buffalo. I am also enrolled in a comprehensive program in automobile crash reconstruction at Northwestern University. I am always looking for the most updated information possible to help my patients. My goal is to be a student for the rest of my life. So far, so good!
Make the very best decision when it comes to choosing a provider of any health service. The terminal degree that a provider has should not be your only consideration. Every practitioner is different and individual. Choose the best fit for your own personal needs.
